The knotted portion of the toy forms the carrot itself, while the added timothy hay ‘leaves’ complete the overall look! The toy can easily be refilled with more timothy hay later or even with small treats, while the base remains intact.
Water hyacinth differs to seagrass, and is sometimes preferred by some small animals. It is even more lightweight, has a slightly spongey texture and is less robust…but incredibly tasty and irresistible! It is a completely safe material for small animals to both chew and ingest.
